Okay, so I’m going to assume this is going to be a very posh event and in this sense I think it appropriate to wear a ethereal long dress, hair pulled up and drop earrings. Or something modern and beautiful. I’m sure you will look the part no matter what though love, so have fun with this! Let me start by saying that I love denim;- it’s a trusty go-to that seems to suffice for every occasion. It has the ability to be dressed up (or down) and when the heart breaking moment of replacement dawns on the horizon I get heart palpitations. Breaking in a new pair of jeans is never a comfortable experience. But lately I have found myself becoming less enchanted with the adaptive ways denim so I thought; “That is it. I am breaking up with denim.”

My disillusionment didn’t last very long however because Resort ‘13 strolled on to the scene and revamped denim in a multitude of ways! Givenchy, Balmain, Christopher Kane and MMM x HM toyed with denim and created, well, items that were covetable.

I’m rambling, but denim doesn’t have to be vanilla and boring. 

 MMM x HM’s denim harem pants are cool- seriously cool. I can’t think of a more dynamic piece to put on your must have list.

You can wear denim as a jumpsuit or alternatively as a skater skirt.

Everybody wins with denim, members of the on trend, casual, preppy or (dare I say it) soft grunge style can appreciate the versatility of denim and relish in all it has to offer. Embrace the Denim.
